  • Training: One free class on 25 February, which every volunteer must attend

You will read picture books to children aged four to seven. We ask you to commit to at least eight Saturdays, because young listeners need familiar faces. Bold or shy, young or old, everyone is welcome, but please be reliable.

Do the Loudest Leaders Really Win?

Is a bold voice the mark of a good leader? A team in Canada followed forty small companies for three years. The loudest managers won attention early, but the firms that grew fastest were run by quiet people who listened more than they spoke.

These leaders shared three habits. They admitted their mistakes in public, they praised staff by name, and they kept small promises, such as answering an email on the same day.

The study does not claim that a coward makes a good boss. Courage and discipline are still needed. What it suggests is that modesty and courage can live in the same person.

DTen years

31Which habit is NOT mentioned in the article?
